The Department of Economics and the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) at Johns Hopkins University seek junior faculty candidates in the fields of energy and environmental economics as part of a cluster search related to sustainable energy. Applicants from related fields, such as industrial organization, public finance, or applied microeconomics, with applications to energy and the environment are welcomed. The appointment will be in the Department of Economics. Successful candidates will join ROSEI, a newly endowed university-wide institute with 12 core and over 40 affiliated faculty ( This position provides an opportunity to develop a world-class program in sustainable energy as part of this new Institute. The search committee includes representatives from economics, applied mathematics, and engineering.
