The Department of Economics at University Alberto Hurtado (UAH) invites applications for two full-time (assistant/associate/full) tenure-track appointments beginning August 1, 2024. Applicants must have strong empirical abilities and should have research interests in the listed fields. Assistant professors with up to five years of experience are encouraged to apply. Associate/full professor applicants must demonstrate excellence in research and teaching. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by the beginning of the appointment.

The Department is committed to excellence in research and teaching. Candidates will teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and it is expected to do it in Spanish. UAH have flexible budgets for participation in scientific conferences and research activities. Compensation and teaching load are internationally competitive.
