The Development Economics program at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) invites applications for (Permanent) Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, starting in Fall 2024.

The position is for the areas of development economics and applied microeconomics. Appointees are expected to teach two graduate-level courses per semester, conduct research publishable in leading peer-review journals, and undertake some administrative duties. Candidates should be able to teach in Arabic and English. The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in economics.

For the permanent position, please provide: (1) a cover letter; (2) a curriculum vita; (3) a statement of teaching philosophy; (4) a research statement; (5) evidence of teaching excellence; (6) selected samples of papers; (7) the names of three references (email address and phone number).
