The Department of Economics, Dalhousie University invites applications for two probationary tenure-track or tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor rank, commencing July 1, 2024. Applicants must be working in one of the following areas: (i) Microeconomic Theory (with focus on applied problems), (ii) Econometrics, particularly Big Data, Machine Learning and Financial Econometrics, (iii) Health/ Labour Economics. These positions will require teaching and supervision at the undergraduate and graduate, including PhD levels, and research leading to peer-reviewed publications. Candidates must have a completed or almost completed PhD, and have a strong commitment to research and teaching. All qualified candidates are invited to apply, including those in advanced stages of Assistant Professorship.
