SMU’s Cox School of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track position in Real Estate: Clinical Professor (Ph.D) or Professor of Practice (non-Ph.D) position beginning Fall 2024. Non-tenure positions typically include an 18-credit hour teaching load (3 courses per semester). The Real Estate Department offers courses in the School’s BBA, MBA, and MS programs. Hiring is contingent on a satisfactory background check.

Cox, a nationally ranked business school in Dallas, Texas, has a well-respected RE Department with strong corporate community relations. The Folsom Institute supports the department, driving research and academic programs with an executive board of 200+ industry leaders.

Ideal candidates for the Clinical Professor position must have a Ph.D in finance, real estate, urban economics, or related field, while master degrees in related fields with at least 10 years of industry experience in commercial RE finance will be considered for the Professor of Practice position.
