The Department of Economics at Oberlin College (located 35 miles from Cleveland) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant level (tenure-track) starting in Fall 2024. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating successful teaching or scholarly research in Financial Economics. A candidate should have earned a Ph.D. or expect to do so by Fall 2024. The incumbent is expected to teach courses on the principles of finance, intermediate level project and corporate finance, advanced topics, and a senior seminar. An ability to practically prepare and help place students in finance and business positions is also required. Salary and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
