Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University School of Law (policyintegrity.org) is seeking two postdoctoral research fellows in economics.

The ideal candidates should have a focus on policy-oriented research in one of the following areas: (1) environmental or resource economics; (2) transportation and electric vehicle policy; or (3) energy economics/policy. Excellent written communication skills required.

Policy Integrity is a non-partisan think tank dedicated to improving the quality of government decisionmaking. We work to identify and support economically sound policies related to energy, the environment, and public health.

The fellow will collaborate with legal and economic researchers to prepare policy reports, comments in regulatory proceedings, and journal articles on a variety of issues including environmental policy, natural resources management, and benefit-cost analysis. Fellows are also encouraged to engage in independent research.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by June 2024. Excellent R or Python programming, data, and written communication skills are essential.

The salary range is $83,200-$93,600 and benefits are generous. The appointment is for September 2024 to August 2026.
