Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Management & Business Administration invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions in Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in August 2024. Duties include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Economics and Business Economics in a traditional face-to-face environment and online. In addition, successful candidates are expected to engage in research and publishing activity necessary to establish and maintain AACSB qualifications, and provide service to the department, college, and university. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have earned a doctorate in Economics or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited university by appointment date (August 2024).

Preferred Qualifications
Additional consideration will be given to applicants with specializations and interests in financial or business economics and data analytics. Successful teaching experience and an established or demonstrated potential for an active research program are desired.
