Position Justification:
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) in the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) at the University of Hawaii Manoa has a vision to integrate natural and social science disciplines to promote local to global sustainability and resiliency.

We seek a candidate interested in the economics of outdoor recreation. The candidate should have a background in the concepts and empirical research techniques used in studying the economics of outdoor recreation and public sector recreational asset management.

This position will be 50% instruction and 50% soft money research, with three years of secured funding.
