Weber State University, Ogden, Utah

The Department of Economics at Weber State University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position beginning in fall 2024. The position offers a competitive salary, 3/3 teaching load, and research support.

Teaching responsibilities will include upper- and lower-level courses. Special consideration will be given to those candidates with a demonstrated ability and interest in teaching courses in Economic History of the United States, International Trade, and/or Macroeconomics.

Required Qualifications:

A PhD in economics by August 2024 is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic teacher who maintains an active research agenda, has the potential or demonstrated success publishing in peer reviewed journals, mentors undergraduate students, and recruits economics majors.
