The Department of Economics at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2024. The position is open to applicants in development economics using applied microeconomics methods. We are particularly interested in candidates who are well-equipped to teach a course in upper-level undergraduate econometrics, such as a course in causal inference. As a collegiate university dedicated to the Teacher-Scholar model, we are looking for candidates with an active and ambitious research agenda and a commitment to deeply engaged teaching of undergraduate students.

The economics department at Wake Forest is one of the most popular majors in the college and our students are both bright and engaged.
