The Jurisprudence and Social Policy (JSP) PhD Program in the School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley invites entry-level and lateral applicants for a full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the field of race and law. We seek a scholar whose primary research focus is on race and its relationship to law and legal institutions and/or a scholar whose research centers on the legal activities, ideas, and experiences of underrepresented minorities. We are especially interested in scholars whose research centers on race and law as they relate to African Americans, and who will teach at least one course in the broad area of race and law.
