Full Text of JOE Listing:
The University of Seoul's Department of Science in Taxation is seeking qualified female applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Public Economics at the Assistant Professor level. The University of Seoul is a public university funded by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The appointment could start as early as March 1, 2024.
Job Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in Economics or a related field, with strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching is required. By the Seoul Metropolitan Government's equal opportunity ordinance, only female applicants can be accepted for this opening. Recent Ph.D. graduates are welcome to apply. Ph.D. candidates are also welcome to apply, provided that the degree will be granted by the appointment date.
Job Requirements:
The appointee is expected to publish in established journals. The teaching responsibility is fifteen credit hours (five courses) for two semesters. The courses in our program include all areas in public economics.
