The Williams College Economics Department invites applications for one tenure-track position in macroeconomics, potentially at the senior level, to begin July 1, 2024. We are particularly seeking candidates whose work relates to open economy macroeconomics and/or monetary policy, with an interest in policy issues relevant to developing and emerging market economies. Candidates should be interested in playing an active role at Williams’ Center for Development Economics (
We are a department of active scholars ( and currently have 26 tenured or tenure-track faculty members.
