The Department of Economics at The Catholic University of America seeks applicants to fill a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Microeconomics to begin in August 2024.

The preferred field of expertise is public economics (public policy) with interest also in environmental economics (climate change), and the digital economy (technology). Candidates with specialization in other areas of microeconomics are also encouraged to apply. PhD in Economics (or completed before August 2024) is essential. As undergraduate and graduate instruction is expected, teaching experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated strong actual and potential research is required. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research and a passion to mentor students and engage in service activities.
