The Peking University Institute for Global Health and Development (PKU-GHD), a newly established university-wide interdisciplinary institution, invites application for full-time positions. Rankings are open, including Assistant Research Professor, Associate Research Professor and Full Research Professor. Salaries are competitive and will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

Candidates must have obtained doctoral-level training in a relevant field, especially in economics, global health, or health diplomacy and global governance, and should demonstrate significant scholarship and excellent academic ability. Candidates with strong quantitative research capability are most preferred. Research fields include but are not limited to health and development economics, global health and policy, epidemiology, international relations and global governance.

Drawing on the university wide resources, the Peking University Institute for Global Health and Development (GHD) is launched in responding to the world common challenges facing global health and human development. As a highly multidisciplinary institute, the GHD primary faculty body includes both fulltime faculty and joint-appointment professors mainly from the PKU Faculty of Economics and Management, School of International Studies, and School of Public Health, coupled with affiliated leading scholars from oversea universities and research institutions.

Through its scientific research, global partnership and social responsibility, the Peking University GHD is aiming to make contributions to the world sustainable and inclusive development by delivering global public goods for human health and welfare improvement. The Institute also strives to train the next-generation leaders through advanced graduate programs in global health and development in collaboration with world leading academic institutions.
