This position reports to the Labor Market Information Department in Columbia, SC. Incumbent will serve as the lead professional for the development of analytical products that provide labor market insights to policymakers and institutions across the state's workforce ecosystem, including as principal investigator on projects mandated under the Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act. Establish and manage the implementation of an agenda for development and maintenance of products relevant to workforce ecosystem stakeholders. Engage with academic and professional researchers and data professionals in public, private, and non-profit sectors to collaborate on projects and ensure accuracy and availability of resources necessary to conduct analysis. Interface with Department leadership to coordinate and perform program evaluation activities and serve as a resource on research methods. Oversee all functions of the Workforce Information Grant, ensuring its operations in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor's regulations and the Department's expectations. Ensures the efficiency of operations among assigned teams and creates and implements changes or improvements as needed. Provides management to staff by organizing the workflow of assigned programs. Manages and supervises a professional staff.
