The Economics Department at Stony Brook University has openings for three Lecturers in Economics during the 23/24 academic year, starting September 1, 2023.

Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics at the start of the position and have an excellent teaching record or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.

Preferred Qualifications: experience teaching at the undergraduate level.

The ideal candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate classes in macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and related topics, for a total of three classes per semester. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to advise undergraduates.

The committee will start reviewing applications June 14, 2023.
