Overview
The University of St. Thomas Economics Department invites applications for a Visiting Professor of Economics to begin September 1, 2023, with the possibility of reappointment for a second year. We seek applications from candidates in any field. The typical teaching load consists of 6 courses for the year. The successful candidate is expected to teach a combination of microeconomic or macroeconomic principles, possibly one or two upper-division courses in the candidate’s area(s) of interest, with a maximum of two preps per semester and three preps for the year.

Qualifications
Minimum qualification for the position include a Master’s degree in economics, or a closely-related field (Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred), and experience in teaching university-level economics.
