We have an exciting opportunity for two Postdoctoral Research Officers, to join the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Work. The programme investigates how technological advances have reshaped labour markets globally over the long run and examines what the changing technological landscape means for jobs, structural change, and wellbeing.

The successful candidates will be experts in the field of economics. They will be responsible for their own academic research and administrative activities, within guidelines provided by the Programme Directors. They are expected to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and translate key findings into policy briefs. They will work closely with the team to master existing empirical and theoretical discussions, be familiar with the literature and provide original insights.

Applicants will be expected to have a PhD/DPhil in economics, management, or closely related field, with a strong interest in applied microeconomics, including topics like technological change and labour markets to address the global challenges facing the workforce and contribute to the multidisciplinary environment at the Oxford Martin School.

The two posts are full time, 2 years fixed term reporting to Dr Carl Benedikt Frey.
