Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University School of Law (policyintegrity.org) is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow in economics.

The ideal candidate should have a focus on policy-oriented research in environmental and/or energy justice.

Policy Integrity is a non-partisan think tank dedicated to improving the quality of government decisionmaking. We work to identify and support economically sound policies related to energy, the environment, and public health.

The fellow will collaborate with legal and economic researchers to prepare policy reports, comments in regulatory proceedings, and journal articles on a variety of issues including energy and environmental justice. They will also engage with community-based organizations and partners to provide technical and policy assistance, create training materials, and organize training workshops. Fellows are also encouraged to engage in independent research.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by June 2023. Excellent R or Phyton programming, data, and written communication skills are essential.

The salary range is $80,000-$90,000 and benefits are generous. The appointment is for June 2023 to August 2025, with the option for future renewal.
