The Department of Economics and Business at the Colorado School of Mines (Mines) invites applications for a tenured or advanced tenure-track faculty position in Mineral and Energy Economics (MEE). The primary focus of this position will be to help develop and support the university’s research and education initiatives in economics and mineral and energy policy. The tight focus of the economics faculty at Mines on minerals, energy, and associated environmental issues is unique, and the university is known internationally as a premier institution in this space. It also benefits from the first-class technical expertise on campus and at the nearby National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Mines is currently advancing several multidisciplinary educational and research initiatives in these areas.

Colorado School of Mines is a R1 public university dedicated to education and research in science and engineering.
