The Risk and Insurance Department in the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin, Madison seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to join our vibrant and cross-disciplinary department. We are looking for scholars whose research and teaching can help shape how business and society assess, manage and finance risk. We are open to a wide range of research agendas and methodological approaches within the field of risk and insurance. The ideal candidate will have a background and teaching interest suitable to teach managerial economics at the MBA level in addition to the possibility of other teaching within the field of risk and insurance. Applicants will be expected to create and maintain a strong program of research, provide classroom and individual instruction for undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students, and contribute to the intellectual and academic life of the department. University and professional service will be expected as appropriate.
