Job Description
The Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position in Economics, at the Assistant or Associate level. Responsibilities include teaching PhD-level econometrics courses, graduate/undergraduate economics courses and publishing high-quality scholarly research. Additional responsibilities could include teaching basic finance courses.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely-related field. Candidates who are ABD with expected completion by December 2023 may be considered. Candidates will be evaluated using a variety of criteria related to the job including the following:

• Ph.D. (ABD) in Economics or a closely related field

• Ability to teach Ph.D.-level econometrics courses

• Ability to publish high-quality scholarly articles

• Ability and interest to teach basic finance courses

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the college's continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences
