JSGS Assistant Professor - July 1, 2023
The position will develop a highly productive research program, teach courses, supervise graduate students and participate in admin. activities.
The position will teach across JSGS’ graduate programs & certificates. The development of new courses may substitute for course instruction. The position will focus on teaching primarily in economics and economic policy. Research expertise in innovation and/or sustainability policy with interest in energy, natural resources, or agriculture policy is an asset.
We are looking for a colleague with a PhD and research track record in economics or economic policy. The candidate must demonstrate promise of excellence in teaching and research.
The ability to add to JSGS’ research expertise, methodological diversity, excellence in online teaching and public engagement will be strong assets. Experience in public sector and/or other applied policy contexts is an asset.
