The School of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology seeks to hire a productive scholar with research interests in international trade. Applicants must demonstrate excellent quantitative/empirical skills and have research interests synergistic with the School of Economics faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in international trade at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will play an integral role in the School’s Ph.D. program.

The School of Economics is a diverse, dynamic, and growing department that is continuing to build on its strengths in applied microeconomics. Georgia Tech is a highly ranked Research I institution with research expenditures exceeding $1 billion and offers significant support and opportunities for collaborative research across complementary disciplines.

Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to employment. Applicants should have a record of excellence in scholarship and teaching that commensurates with their time in rank or should show promise for both research and teaching excellence in the case of junior applicants.
