The Economics Department of the Kadir Has University invites applications for a full-time, open-rank, tenure-line position with a focus in macroeconomics, international economics, political economy, econometrics or microeconomics beginning September 1, 2023. We welcome candidates from other fields as well. The department’s preference is that the appointment be an advanced assistant professor, but appointment at the rank of associate professor and full professor is also possible.

The successful candidate will be expected to pursue high-quality scholarship, teach courses related to the candidate’s research field, contribute to introductory and/or core courses in economic theory, supervise graduate students, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the economics department and the University. The department values a pluralistic approach to economics and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute the pluralistic nature of the department. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in economics or related field and a record that demonstrates promise of high-quality research and teaching.
