Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, invites applications at the professor, associate professor and assistant professor level in Marxist Political Economy area starting from the fall of 2023. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Marxist Political Economy before taking up the position. Candidates are expected to demonstrate commitment to teaching and to develop and maintain an active research and publication agenda in Marxist Political Economy area.

Institute of Economics is recognized as a leading academic disciplinary body and confers doctoral degree (shared with Tsinghua School of Economics and Management) as well as master and bachelor degrees in theoretical economics. Major research interests of the institute include: Marxist political economy, history of economic thought, economic history, econometrics, and digital economics.

Interviews will be conducted online.
