The Department of Economics and International Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Although candidates with specialization in any field of economics will be considered, special consideration will be given to those candidates with a strong background in business statistics and quantitative methods.

The department values high-quality research and teaching. The department is ranked in the top 15 in Texas. The department offers BBA degrees in Economics, International Business, and it expects to offer an MS degree in Applied Economics starting in Fall 2023. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. The Economics and International Business programs are located within the College of Business Administration, which is AACSB accredited.
