The University of St. Thomas Department of Economics invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning September 1, 2023.

We invite applications in the area of Macroeconomics. The successful candidate will teach Principles of Macroeconomics, Macroeconomic Theory, Forecasting, and other undergraduate courses in the candidate’s area(s) of interest. The typical teaching load is 3 courses (2 preparations) per semester in a small class setting. The department seeks candidates who are committed to high-quality undergraduate instruction (including engaging students in research) and a productive research agenda.

Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics is required. ABD nearing completion will be considered with initial appointment at the rank of Instructor if Ph.D. is not completed by September 1, 2023. Review of applications will begin on November 18, 2022 and continue until the position is filled. Screening interviews will be conducted via electronic conferencing beginning prior to the ASSA meetings.
