UMBC’s Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity is a 2-year in residence fellowship that supports promising scholars who are committed to diversity and inclusive excellence and to prepare those scholars for possible tenure track appointments at UMBC. Applications for this program would be welcome by the Department of Economics, which offers a supportive environment for Postdoctoral Fellows with a strong focus on mentoring.
UMBC is a national model for diversity and inclusive excellence in the STEM through its Meyerhoff Scholars program (http://meyerhoff.umbc.edu/) and in Economics through its Sloan Predoctoral Fellows Program in Economics (https://economics.umbc.edu/sloan-umbc-2/)
