The University of North Alabama’s College of Business and Technology (AACSB accredited) invites applications for the tenure-track Charles Anderson Eminent Scholar of Business faculty position with a rank of Associate Professor or Professor for the 2023 fall semester. While candidates from all of the aforementioned disciplines are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to those who have demonstrated knowledge and skills to best contribute to teaching and research in our Executive Doctor of Business Administration (EDBA) program. Review of applications will begin during Fall 2022 and continue until the position has been filled.
The successful candidate will have a doctorate from an accredited institution in one of the following disciplines: Accounting, Computer Information Systems/Computer Science/Information Technology, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Data Analytics/Statistics, or a closely-related field; evidence of effectiveness in the classroom; and a record of producing publications necessary for the college to meet current AACSB international accreditation standards. Also, experience serving on and chairing dissertation committees is a plus. Salaries are competitive with other AACSB-accredited institutions.
