The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for an untenured Assistant Professor position in Experimental Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Legal Studies. Primary duties include teaching economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in articles in high-quality scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University. The position will start August 16, 2023.

Required Qualifications: (1) a doctoral degree in economics or a closely related field; (2) a demonstrated potential for publishing in top academic journals and a strong research pipeline given the applicant's career stage; and (3) evidence of high quality teaching.

Preferred Qualifications: Experimental and behavioral scholars whose work focuses on any topic will be given full consideration, but those whose research (1) overlaps with that of the department’s existing faculty and (2) can utilize resources of The Interactive Decision Experiment Lab (https://tidelab.culverhouse.ua.edu) are especially encouraged to apply.
