The Department of Economics of Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2023. The position is open to applicants in the fields of Urban and Regional Economics. As a collegiate university dedicated to the Teacher-Scholar model, we are looking for candidates with an active and ambitious research agenda and a commitment to deeply engaged teaching of undergraduate students.

The economics department at Wake Forest is one of the most popular majors in the college and our students are both bright and engaged. Our faculty are committed to excellence in both teaching and research, the latter of which can be observed in our strong track record in research and our active research seminar. Located in Winston-Salem, NC, Wake Forest University is a private, coeducational institution with undergraduate enrollment of 5,500 and graduate enrollment of 3,500.
