Sacred Heart University’s Jack Welch College of Business & Technology invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor faculty position in the Department of Economics and Finance, starting August 2022. Candidates are expected to teach Data Analytics courses in the MS in Business Analytics graduate program.
The ideal candidate should have a terminal degree in computer science, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. ABDs will be considered but must finish the Ph.D. by August 15, 2022. Candidates with MS degree, who have strong experience applying analytics and statistics in real-world applications, will also be considered. A solid background in statistics and a programing language, such as Python, is required. Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of courses in the analytics field.
