What You Can Expect
This role sits within the front office and you will partner closely with various internal parties and provide up to date, industry leading research. You will be assigned to the Economics research team, working closely with the economists on analyzing data, building models and writing research reports as well as responding to internal and external client requests. You will be able to recognize critical data points, analytical concepts and come to a logical conclusion through the process.

Your Background:

We are looking for candidates with post-graduate degree in economics, finance or related field. Here are the qualifications:
Post-graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in economics or finance
3.5 out of 4.0 GPA equivalent or above
Relevant working experience is a plus
Strong analytical skills in macroeconomics and econometrics, knowledge about financial market and investment
Familiar with various database such as CEIC, Haver, Bloomberg, Wind, etc, and able to search resources on internet effectively.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and EViews, and willing to learn other statistics software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
