The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for (up to three) twelve-month Limited Term Appointments at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor commencing July 1, 2022 subject to budgetary approval.
Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or be close to completion (i.e., can defend by July 1, 2023). Preference will be given to candidates who show evidence of a commitment to scholarship and excellence in teaching. Duties primarily include undergraduate teaching, but may include graduate teaching. Applicants in all fields will be considered with preference given to candidates with expertise in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and/or econometrics.

The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics has over one hundred full-time faculty and more than five thousand undergraduate and graduate students. The Economics Department is located on the Waterloo campus. As of July 2021, the Department of Economics consists of 29 tenured or tenure-track faculty.
