Economics Faculty Position with Emphasis on Econometrics

The Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for a contract faculty position within the Economics program. This is not a tenured or tenure-track position, but we can offer a multiple-year renewable contract. We seek an experienced, senior-level economist with expertise in theoretical and empirical econometrics. The job entails teaching econometrics to undergraduate and Master’s degree students, potentially teaching in a doctoral program in Social Science being developed, supervising undergraduate Capstone theses and Master’s theses, and providing econometric advice to students and faculty. The Economics group at NYUAD is among the highest ranked in Asia, with faculty trained at the best institutions in the world.

Qualifications
This position requires a Ph.D. in Economics. Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 15 years of experience teaching Econometrics at the undergraduate and graduate level, the skills to advise students and colleagues on econometric issues, excellent teaching evaluations, some administrative experience within an Economics program, and publications in top journals.
