How you’ll contribute:

The research associate will be responsible for helping lead research related to child welfare (foster care) and early childhood policies and programs. The research associate will work on a variety of potential projects related to child care quality, access, and subsidies; Head Start and public prekindergarten; home visiting; child and family stability and well-being; housing for youth and families involved in child welfare; and other related topics.

What you’ll bring:

• Successful candidates will have a PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, or other social sciences a or master’s degree and the combination of equivalent professional and research experience.
• Demonstrate experience with early childhood and child welfare systems, policy, and research
• Lived experience or familiarity with child care and early education preferred
