The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2022, with the expectation that they have completed all Ph.D. requirements by August 2022. Successful candidates will be pursuing a research agenda and teach courses that:

• employ big data analysis (AI techniques, machine learning, or other statistical inference methods)

Or

• investigate issues related to the economics of gender, race, or ethnicity or contemporary social movements such as sexuality and culture.

The research expectation is commensurate with 3/2 teaching load. Departmental representatives will conduct virtual interviews.
