The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in macroeconomics and monetary economics beginning August 2022. Secondary fields of interest are international economics and economic development. Individuals with diverse cultural and ethnic perspectives or experiences are encouraged to apply.
A Ph.D. in Economics is required. ABD (“all but dissertation”) candidates will be considered for one-year terminal appointment as Lecturer with conversion to tenure-track Assistant Professor if all requirements for the Ph.D. are successfully completed by July 1, 2022. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants must submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, a written sample of recent research, a statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of excellent teaching (e.g., student teaching evaluations if available), and unofficial transcripts.
