The School of Business Administration at Oakland University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Health Economics starting August 15, 2022. While all areas of Health Economics will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with a secondary field in Labor Economics. The faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate and MBA level courses, to develop and maintain high quality research, and to participate in service activities appropriate to the position. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited institution. Applicants with ABD status will also be considered if they will complete the degree requirements by August 15, 2022.

The School of Business Administration (SBA) offers undergraduate and graduate programs that merge the teaching talent of dedicated professions and experienced business leaders with the latest technologies and applications. The School of Business Administration offers a number of Master’s degree’s: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM) and Master of Accounting (MAcc). The Department of Economics offers a BS in Economics and a BS in Business Economics through the SBA, and a BA in Economics through the College of Arts and Sciences.
