The Department of Economics at Baylor University seeks a clinical assistant professor to begin in Fall 2022. The primary duties for this position are teaching macroeconomics at the principles, intermediate, and graduate level. In most years, the typical teaching load is 4-3 with a one course release for research. Research expectations in proportion to the release time go along with the position.
Applicants should have their Ph.D. in Economics awarded by August 2022, with a background in macroeconomics. Successful teaching experience is preferred, and applicants should demonstrate promise in conducting research sufficient to maintain "Scholarly Academic" status under Baylor and AACSB guidelines. A successful applicant will also show potential for service to department, college, university, and the community.
