The Department of Economics at Tufts University invites applications for a full‐time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor, starting in September 2022. This position is subject to final budget approval. Applications will be considered from all candidates with research and teaching interests the fields listed above. However, preference will be given to those whose research emphasizes econometric modeling and testing, and that addresses issues of race and gender disparities. Candidates are expected to develop an outstanding research program, provide inclusive and excellent teaching both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including the supervision of student research at these levels. Candidates should expect to receive their Ph.D. prior to the start of the appointment.
