The Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo invites applications for an assistant/associate/full professor position in industrial organization beginning in September 2022.

The successful candidate will conduct research and teach at Graduate School of Economics. The full/associate professor position is a tenured position, and the assistant professor position is for 7 years with an initial 3-year appointment followed by a 4-year term subject to a successful midterm review.

Japanese language is not required for the position although preference is given to candidates with fluency in Japanese due to undergraduate teaching. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in economics at the time of their appointment.
