The Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE), within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, conducts analyses for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on resource and economic issues affecting defense programs, plans, and budgets. This office seeks Candidates who have completed or nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Economics for analyst positions. Duties include data and policy analysis with applications to health, labor, resource and fiscal economics to advise senior decision makers within the United States Department of Defense.
