Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Economics
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7.

To further enhance its role as a leading international academic institution, the Department of Economics wishes to make an additional appointment at the Teaching Lecturer level for the 2021/22-2023/24 academic years. The contract will run for 36 months 1st October 2021- 30th September 2024 in the first instance. We invite applications for a teacher on undergraduate economics courses.

The post-holder will play an important role in further strengthening the department’s current teaching activities, with special reference to macroeconomics at the undergraduate level. A research and or teaching interest in inequality is also welcomed. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in Economics or an Economics related field and have experience of teaching, lecturing or other forms of public presentation at Higher Education level. A commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students is also essential. A PhD in any field of Economics as well as experience with curriculum design is desirable.
