The College of Business at the University of Central Florida seeks to fill a lecturer position. The primary teaching assignment will be the Quantitative Business Tools II course, required of all business undergraduate students. As part of the business core curriculum, Quantitative Business Tools II is taught in a large section using a non-traditional blended modality known as REAL (relevant engaged active learning) which incorporates on-line and face-to-face instruction in smaller (though still sizeable) sections. The face-to-face sections employ team based active learning. In addition to this course, the selected applicant will teach at least one undergraduate or masters course in the Economics or Integrated Business degree programs.

The selected applicant will either be appointed in the Department of Economics or the Department of Integrated Business, depending on educational background and experience. If appointed in the Department of Economics, the successful applicant will normally have a teaching load of 12 hours (4 courses) each Fall and Spring semester.

This is a nine-month, non-tenure earning position with an anticipated start date of either Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.
