The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF)—the world’s top-ranked think tank for science and technology policy—seeks a senior policy analyst to conduct research and engage in public policy debates on a range of issues related to antitrust policy, with a particular focus on how it impacts technological innovation, productivity, and competitiveness. ITIF has long focused on this nexus of antitrust issues and now seeks to ramp up its work. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The senior policy analyst will cover antitrust policy as it relates to innovation, reporting to the director of ITIF’s Schumpeter Project on Competition Policy for the Innovation Economy. The analyst will conduct research and author reports, blog posts, and op-eds. The position will ideally be based in Washington, DC, but remote work is negotiable.

The ideal applicant will be a seasoned policy analyst with deep knowledge and experience in antitrust economics, particularly industrial organization. The applicant should have a strong understanding and appreciation of antitrust policy grounded in firm-level innovation capabilities and practices, and should be well-versed in current policy debates surrounding economic competition.
