The Department of Economics at Florida State University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor beginning August 2021. We seek candidates who have demonstrated teaching excellence in undergraduate econometrics. Other courses you might teach include Game Theory and Intermediate Micro. The teaching load will be 3-3.

Completion of all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2021 is required.

Application requirements consist of a letter of application, current C.V., graduate transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a sample undergraduate econometrics syllabus, a statement of teaching technique and philosophy, and any other evidence of teaching effectiveness you would like to present, particularly regarding econometrics. Given the limited time available, interviews will probably be conducted via Zoom. Evaluation of candidates begins immediately and the position will remain open until filled.
